It takes many hands to build a library! I thought it might be interesting for our community to have a glimpse at some recent history of our Cedar Park library space, which has come a long way in a short time!
Here's a photo from mid July, after the crew began knocking down the wall between the former library and the adjoining classroom, thereby doubling its size.
About 10 days before the first day of school, we were finally approved to move into the building. But since furniture and books from Olympic Hills had not been removed, the delivery team had not set up the new furniture. Here's a look:
I was grateful for the kind help of our district's Furniture Manager Anita Hornby, who stopped in to check on things and stayed to help unpack and position furniture for a good chunk of her Saturday.
